Who better to teach a legend than another legend? Hollywood icon Meryl Streep recently insisted that she actually learn to play the guitar for her upcoming role in the film “Ricki and the Flash.” She just so happened to get a private lesson from one of the most respected and well known rockers of all time: Neil Young. In a video showing the actual lesson, you can see just how impressed Streep is watching Young do what he does best. One can only imagine what advice a talent like Neil Young could give.

Luckily, you don’t have to be a movie star to watch Neil jam out! In honor of their latest album “The Monsanto Years,” Young and his group Promise of the Real will be stopping by the Bowl on Saturday October 10th.
